Cleanroom filtration systems for hospitalsHEPA Filtration &
UV-C Germicidal Radiation

Hospitals demand the highest level of air purification equipment. Our Cleanroom filtration systems deliver the decontamination and disinfection for sterile environments, like hospitals and medical construction areas, that only medical-grade HEPA filters and UV-C germicidal radiation and HEPA vacuums can provide.

Construction and demolition zones in healthcare facilities are areas of particular concern. Renovation activities can disturb dormant contaminants, and environmental pathogens, like aspergillus mould spores,  can become airborne and transported into the patient population.

We offer a comprehensive line of state-of-the-art air purification systems utilizing the unsurpassed micro-filtration of hospital-grade HEPA and ULPA filters, UV-C germicidal irradiation, negative pressure systems and airflows up from 300 to 2000 CFM and HEPA vacuums for true cleanroom filtration.

Whether you need portable in-room units for construction, demolition and maintenance,  permanent in-ceiling installations for cleanroom filtration, safety enclosures or high efficiency HEPA vacuums for decontamination cleanup, our experts will provide you with the industry's most effective and efficient air purification products  — for hospitals, isolation wards, operating theatres, clinics, outpatient centers, dental offices, medical labs and more.

Portable filtration for construction & demolition

Portable Cleanroom Filtration - Compact, portable design requiring no ductwork or installation. These HEPA filter units are designed to handle the rigorous demands of micro-decontamination in hospitals and other environments where reliable, high-volume filtration is required.

Negative Pressure air purification

Negative Air Pressure Equipment - These versatile negative pressure products are available with optional HEPA filter, UV-C germicidal radiation light section and louvers and collars for in-room use or above-ceiling installation.

In-Ceiling equipment for cleanroom filtration

In-Ceiling Air Purification - This compact low-profile unit is available in a variety of configurations for quiet, out-of-sight decontamination. HEPA, UVGI and ozone UV options

Hospital construction & demolition cleanup with HEPA vacuum

HEPA Vacuums for Construction cleanup - Compact and highly maneuverable, these electric vacuums are designed with an optional HEPA filter offering 99.97% efficiency at removing dust particles down to .3 microns. Ideal for construction cleanup in sterile environments.

Safety Enclosures with hospital-grade HEPA filters

Hospital Safety Enclosures - Room air is drawn in at a rate of 200 fpm and forced through UVGI lighting and a HEPA filter, protecting  the worker's breathing zone and re-circulating clean air into the room.

Cleanroom Filtration

Cleanroom filtration for mould spores like aspergillusIn hospitals and other medical environments, infectious microbes such as TB and Rubella can become airborne and spread through ventilation systems. Potentially toxic mould spores can aerosolize when disturbed by construction and demolition activities. Toxins like Aspergillus and Legionella can become deadly when patients with weakened immune systems are exposed.

The Centers for Disease Control  and Prevention(CDC) estimates that over 90,000 people annually are killed by hospital-acquired infections.

Air Purification Systems for construction in hospitals

Adequate ventilation and air filtration, using hospital-grade HEPA and ULPA filters, in conjunction with UV-C germicidal radiation, have proven highly effective at removing these deadly microbes from the air stream, greatly reducing contamination in sterile environments, like cleanrooms, and the potential for infection transmission.

In its Guidelines for Environmental Infection Control in Healthcare Facilities, the CDC recommends the use of portable air purification systems industrial-grade HEPA filter units with airflow rates in the range of 300 to 800 CFM to facilitate the removal of respirable particulate. Our HEPA filter systems are capable of capturing airborne contaminants as small as .3 microns.

UV-C germicidal radiation has proven extremely effective, in conjunction with filtration, at neutralizing deadly microbes. Specialized lamps emit UVGI light, known to disinfect infectious microbes contained in  airborne droplets and dust. In one Vancouver, Canada hospital study, air sampling before and after installation of an air purification system indicated airborne mould within the medical facility to be 10 to 1000 times lower after installation of an UVGI purifying unit.

bacteria, viruses, fungi, mould decontamination with UV-C germicidal radiationNegative air pressure also helps to prevent cross-contamination so that air flows from nearby areas into the negative pressure room, preventing the escape of contaminated air. Our negative pressure products offer airflow ranges from 300 to 2000 CFM, are compact and portable and easily adaptable for permanent installation.
