HEPA
Filters &
UV Germicidal Radiation
Contamination control in hospitals and other
healthcare facilities is vital to protecting the health and safety
of patients and workers. Our ACCU negative pressure systems
offer optional HEPA filtration and UV-C germicidal radiation.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
recommends
negative air pressure systems as an effective strategy for preventing
the escape and dispersion of microbial pathogens from contaminated
areas like hospital construction and demolition areas, tuberculosis isolation wards and in a variety of
healthcare facilities. With negative pressure systems, airborne
bacteria, viruses and mould spores are confined by airflow patterns
that circulate into and not out of these restricted areas.
Medical-grade
HEPA filters ensure capture of contaminants as small as .3
microns, and germicidal UV-C radiation (UVGI) neutralizes
potentially deadly microbes.
Our Absolute
Contamination Control Units (ACCU) are compact and portable,
with no duct work or installation required and plug into a standard
110/120 outlet. They are ready for in-room use. Specialized louvers
and collars make these air purifiers easily adaptable for permanent
enclosure or above-ceiling installations, as well.
These units are
extremely low-maintenance and require very little electrical
consumption. With Airflows ranging
from 300 to 2000 CFM,
we offer a
negative pressure unit for virtually every type air filtration job.
