CAP^® Clean Air Plant - Biological Air Cleaning

The CAP Clean Air plant is a biological air cleaning system providing a complete, economical solution for Destroying VOCs, eliminating odors and removing particulates. 

Applications

Industrial VOC and Odor Control

CAPs can be added to SVE and manufacturing processes for odor control, stack gases, tank vent emissions, soil vapor extraction, vehicle exhaust and many other applications. Destruction efficiencies can be adjusted by joining several in a series.

Alternative to Carbon

CAPs are an excellent alternative to carbon for odor control or polishing. Unlike carbon which traps pollutants like BTX, MTBE and other hydrocarbons, CAPs continuously oxidize pollutants into non-harmful products like carbon dioxide and water. They can easily be added inline with SVE systems and industrial processes for the control of odor and VOC emissions. The CAP filters do not need to be replaced or disposed. The CAP's unique spiral flow configuration eliminates channeling that can occur with carbon. Operating costs are dramatically lowered because the CAP does not have the high recurring costs associated with regenerating and replacing carbon.

Alternative to Thermal & Catalytic Oxidation

Because CAPs operate at low temperature and low pressure, the energy requirements are also low. This is in direct contrast to high temperature systems, such as catalytic oxidation and thermal oxidation.
